Escape?

In the midst of the battle was where she had remained for several months now. It was unescapable, though she tried to escape it more times than she cared to count. Was there any possible way of escape?
From what? Herself; her prideful, selfish self. Though she tried, each attempt was to no availe. Her fear was that she would never escape this place of restlessness. And she began to wonder if she should stop trying, because all her attempts were vain. Maybe it was time to let her Father release her from this prison, she found herself in. But there was a problem with that idea. She found herself trying to release it to her Father, in her strength. No matter how hard she tried, it was always her strength, it was always her. She was becoming quite sick of herself, but what could she do? How do you escape yourself? But she was starting to realize that she could do nothing. For her to give it to her Father, He would have to be the one to release her and He would have to be it. Nothing but Him, in her, around her, behind and before her, underneath and above her. It must ONLY be HIM. She hoped one day, He would become all. But until that day, she would continue to struggle and wait for His salvation.
Salvation? Yes, she is beginning to learn that it is not simply a one time occurance, but a daily one. As one must die to themselves, one must also find their only hope is in Him and Him alone. Salvation from sin and from the desires of the world. For alone, one is incapable of conquoring, but with the help of the Father, conquoring is not only possible, it is undeniable. And for this reason, she wanted to shout from the rooftops and glory in her Redeemer, Savior, Friend, and Father! For one day, victory would be hers!
