Are you slave?

Wednesday I arrived back at school, in California. And for three days we attended the schools confrence, where we learned a lot from speakers like McArthur and James MacDonald. God opened my mind and heart and I was able to learn. They talked about being a slave to Christ and what that really means. That when we become christians, it's only the beginning. After that we are called to be slaves to Christ, willing to do whatever He asks us to do. We should give ourselves totally to Him. He is our Master and we no longer have any rights to ourselves. But as I thought about it, I realized that if we are slaves and He is the Master, I have no right to anything. Whatever He gives me is a blessing then. And the picture changes. That beautiful sunset I saw and the hug my friend gave me are blessing. Being God's child is a blessing. I don't deserve any thing. But because God loves me and desires to be glorified in and through me, I have been blessed. This might sound a bit depressing, to hear that if you are a christian, you are a slave. But I believe that if you truly love God, there is more joy in serving Him than in any other thing. There's no higher calling. So the question stands, are you a slave to Christ or slave to satan? Because there's no middle or half way serving God.
